The Oracle, Gold Coast
Aerial view of site for Oracle building project.
There are two high rise towers in the project; namely, the Tower 1 with a rise-in-storeys of 50 and the Tower 2 with a rise in storeys of 40. The tower levels 4 and above are used for residential units; the difference in height between levels is 2.9 metres. The first three above ground levels are used for mixed tenancies with retail and commercial. These three levels extend across most of the building site. There are three basement levels extending across the whole site. These levels are used for car parking and some storage near lifts.
The building is generally of concrete construction. Each floor is a slab supported on load bearing walls between residential units or tenancies. Lifts and stairwells are concrete.
