Education and Training

Our company has strong links to academia and significant experience in conducting professional courses in performance-based fire safety engineering disciplines.

With respect to tertiary teaching, our company's vision is to share the knowledge and experience we gather through our professional activities with the fire safety engineering professionals of the future.

A number of our engineers have a background in academia. We have been involved in conducting lectures at undergraduate and post graduate levels at University of Western Sydney (both locally and in Singapore); Victoria University and University of Melbourne.

Our staff have conducted professional short courses in the field of Fire Safety & Risk Engineering and related topic to various Building Approval Authorities, Fire Brigades and building industry professionals. We have also conducted workshops and professional courses and given presentations at seminars in Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

Scientific Fire Services also offer a suite of short seminars aimed at industry professionals in order to enhance and aid facilitation of 'Continued Professional Development' (CDP) programs.
